  • Congratulations to 500-backed agritech startup Qarbotech on the new addition to their co-founding team, Amirul Merican! Amirul has been appointed COO and will be spearheading operations and production scale-up.
  • Amirul previously co-founded a biotech company that specializes in manufacturing Black Soldier Fly Larvae products. He is a Shell scholar who holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and Energy, Sustainability & the Environment (MEng, BA) from the University of Cambridge.
