  • 500-backed agritech company Elevarm just released their 3rd annual Impact Report, ‘Driving Productivity with Purpose’, spotlighting how their team is strengthening the upstream ecosystem in agriculture.
  • “Behind these numbers are real stories—smallholders increasing income, degraded land revived, and communities thriving,” shares Co-founder & CEO Bayu Syerli Rachmat.
  • Here are some of the highlights:
    • More than 15,800 smallholder farmers supported
    • Farmers’ net income up 6–31% across multiple commodities
    • Average net disposable income rose 19%, boosting financial resilience for farmers
    • Informal lending dropped from 30.67% to 10.16%, easing the financial burden on farmers caused by high interest rates and unfavorable loan terms
    • Capital efficiency improved, reducing required capital by 22.5% while ensuring higher productivity
    • Farm labor grew by 33.4%, opening up work opportunities for more than 6,300 rural laborers
    • Chemical inputs cut by 14%, thanks to vermicompost-based practices
  • “Working with Elevarm has allowed me to source higher-quality produce from our farmers, which helps us sell in larger volumes at better prices. Our margins have improved significantly. The Elevarm team also guided us in structuring our operations, making our work much more meticulous and organized,” shared Bu Atin, a potato trader from West Java.
