 Built by PMs for PMs

  • Product managers (PMs) are drowning in grunt work — and 500-backed AI startup ThriveAI wants to fix that. The team just raised a US$1.2M pre-Seed funding round led by 500 Global.
  • PMs often spend more time in meetings, administrative tasks, and data wrangling than actually building great products. That’s where ThriveAI’s AI-powered junior PMs come in, designed to free up senior PMs so they can focus on creative work, such as designing a better-working tool or developing a new product for users.
  • Founded in 2024 by ex-Google PMs Ishwar Dhanuka (CEO) and Brian Ngo (CTO), their technology integrates directly with Slack and Microsoft Teams, letting teams assign tasks to AI agents as easily as they would to a junior colleague — with no extra software or learning curve.
  • With this round of funding, the focus will be on expanding the breadth of tasks ThriveAI agents can reliably own, without sacrificing trust and quality.
  • “We’re being selective about where we go deeper, prioritizing reliability over novelty,” Ishwar shared. “The goal is to make Thrive feel like a real teammate PMs can trust.”
