Seeds of Change

  • 500-backed agritech startup Elevarm raised US$4.25M pre-Series A funding to further their mission to uplift Indonesia’s smallholder farmers with better yields and income.
  • How? The team’s advanced greenhouses and R&D-driven approach creates innovative and sustainable solutions for farmers, including superior seeds, bio-based fertilizers, and environmentally-friendly pest control solutions to ensure stronger and healthier crops for improved and more consistent harvests.
  • Co-founder & CEO Bayu Syerli shared that access to high-quality seedlings and fertilizers has been a long-standing challenge for smallholder farmers, hindering their ability to maximise yields and achieve profitable harvests.
  • Elevarm currently supports over 15,000 farmers across Indonesia and collaborates with over 30 partners, including Indonesia’s Ministry of Agriculture.
  • With the fresh funding, the team will expand their range of seedling varieties, invest in the development of bio-based fertilizers and pest control solutions, and launch AI-powered digital tools designed to provide real-time insights, optimize farming practices, automate tasks, and support smarter decision-making for farmers and Elevarm’s field teams.
