  • 500-backed Komerce announced the acquisition of RajaOngkir, a platform for real-time shipping cost calculation and application programming interfaces (API) integration, which has over 5 million downloads on Playstore.
  • The team shared that this move strengthens their position as a major contender in the e-commerce enabler industry in the country. To date, more than 30,000 SMEs have been onboarded, with over 2 million transactions made within the Komerce ecosystem.
  • Komerce’s services include Komtim (a platform to find remote workers in the e-commerce field), Komclass (SME upskilling and training), Komship (shipping management), Kompack (warehousing), and Komplace (omnichannel SaaS).
  • Now, the team will focus more on the enterprise or brand segment with more seamless API integration, including shipping cost checks, package pick-up, delivery management, and cash on delivery.
  • “The merger with RajaOngkir is an important step for Komerce to continue growing and evolving, particularly in sharpening our strategy and penetration in the shipping and logistics sectors,” shared Nofi Bayu Darmawan, Co-founder & CEO of Komerce.
  • “With RajaOngkir now part of the Komerce ecosystem, we are even closer to our vision of becoming a trusted partner for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) or brands looking to enter the e-commerce industry in Indonesia,” he added.
  • Komerce has been profitable since early 2023 and recorded a 300% year on year revenue increase throughout 2023.
  • The team is currently raising Series A funding to scale the solutions they have built and broaden their adoption among SMEs across Indonesia.
