Box of goodies and goodness
- Congratulations to 500-backed snack and social impact company Boxgreen for receiving the prestigious Champion of Good award from the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC)!
- Boxgreen received the award for demonstrating progress and impact across five key areas – people, society, governance, environment and economy.
- The award was presented at the Company of Good Conferment 2024 event with Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat as the guest of honor.
- The team shared, “Glad to be recognised even as a small company standing on the shoulders of giants. This award reinforces our dedication to creating meaningful change and fostering a culture of giving.”
- Boxgreen recently celebrated their 10th anniversary, marking over 5 million snacks delivered — enough to feed the entire population of Singapore! Pantries in over 5,000 offices are stocking their healthy snacks, including Fortune 500 companies and five-star hotels.
- Every Boxgreen snack is packed in prison by beneficiaries of the Yellow Ribbon Project to enhance their skills and employability, including working with over 200 individuals undergoing drug rehabilitation in Changi Prison.
- About 300 organizations were recognized, with 78 being honored with ‘Champions of Good’, the highest tier out of 4.
