  • Shopping for your little one can be a daunting task as parents are spoiled for choice with the plethora of baby products available. Yet, husband-and-wife team Sean and Jesmine Tan spotted a gap in the market in 2012.
  • They co-founded Applecrumby, and the team raised US$4.2M growth investment from 500 Global to bring more parents around the world high quality, safe and affordable babycare products, including the world’s first 100% Totally Chlorine-free mass market diapers, PureBasics™ by Applecrumby. .
  • “We believe that every parent, regardless of their budget, deserves the peace of mind and confidence that comes with using safe and effective products for their precious little ones,” shared Jesmine, Co-founder & COO.
  • Applecrumby’s products are currently available  in 11 countries, including South Korea, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, and plans to use the fresh funds to expand into 20 countries by the end of 2024.
  • In Malaysia, the brand will be available in close to 2,000 retail locations this year to provide parents greater convenience.
