Accelerating e-commerce
- More Indonesians are shopping online, and 500-backed e-commerce enabler Komerce is empowering entrepreneurs to run their small businesses more efficiently.
- Komerce offers remote teams for ecommerce development, e-fulfillment, and customer relationship management, among others. Later, they expanded their offerings to shipping management, warehousing, as well as omnichannel and marketplace operations.
- The team raised Seed funding from 500 Global and Bukalapak’s founder, Achmad Zaky.
- Since the company’s founding in 2020, they have onboarded 25,000 SMEs (small and medium enterprises) in their ecosystem, and recorded over 2 million transactions in 2023.
- The team shared that they achieved profitability in early 2023, and recorded a 300% year-over-year revenue growth throughout that same year.
- Founder & CEO Nofi Bayu Darmawan shared that the funding will be used to develop products and expand into new markets. He added that they plan to raise up to US$2M in a pre-Series A round in Q4 2024.
