  • Following a recent investment from Kubota, a manufacturer of agricultural and industrial machinery, 500-backed battery company XING Mobility debuted IMMERSIO, their next-generation immersion cooling battery, at 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
  • Touted to be a game changer for electric vehicles & utility power, IMMERSIO will resolve the range anxiety for drivers. How? It enables passenger vehicles to be equipped with a larger battery capacity with almost the same space. Their innovative design eliminates battery modules, reducing the overall weight of the battery while retaining precise thermal management coordination. This enhances the overall energy density of the battery system and extends the lifespan of battery cells.
  • The team also debuted the IMMERSIO XM25, an immersion cooling module already in commercial production, for heavy-duty industrial applications and Energy Storage Systems (ESS). It significantly improves the thermal management endurance of lithium batteries in commercial, residential, and industrial uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to ensure stable and safe energy storage.
  • Royce YC Hong, Co-founder & CEO, revealed that this marks the company’s entry into the U.S. market. ”We are committed to providing a safer and more stable choice for battery thermal management to the global market, rewriting the safety norm for industrial electrification, and realizing a globally high-efficiency sustainable future,” he said.
  • The company is also planning for more collaborative projects worldwide.
