Dynamic duo

  • Earlier this year, TVS Motor led 500-backed e-motorbike company ION Mobility’s US$18.7M Series A funding round as their strategic investor. Several months on, they’re deepening their collaboration through Project Dynamo, marking ION Mobility’s entry into the sports scooter segment.
  • Project Dynamo is ION Mobility’s conceptual adaptation of the TVS X, TVS Motor’s premium flagship crossover EV. The ION Mobility team aims to capture the needs of Indonesian riders who prioritize performance and speed, while taking advantage of the efficiency and sustainability of electric vehicles.
  • This is part of the team’s long-term commitment to the electric motorcycle industry in Indonesia. ION Mobility expects to drive job creation in the electric motorcycle industry through their own hiring and their collaboration with Indonesian suppliers, while actively contributing to knowledge and technology development within the industry.
