Helping small biz go big

  • Small businesses make up 98.5% of all companies within Malaysia, and employ nearly 70% of the nation’s workforce. 
  • As of 2023, 500-backed agent management platform Ejen2u has supported over 500 small businesses, helping them manage over 340,000 resellers across the country, and facilitating over US$115 million.
  • The team just raised a US$1.5M Series A led by Gobi Partners and Artem Ventures.
  • The funds will go towards accelerating efforts to expand to Indonesia, and to offer direct-to-consumer (D2C) services, such as
    • Jooal, a platform for dropshipping clients to sell products without upfront inventory costs
    • EjenStore, a new online storefront and affiliate platform for agents
    • Ejen Fulfillment, Ejen2u’s in-house fulfillment services
    • EjenCare, an income protection plan similar to Malaysia’s Social Security Organisation (SOCSO)
    • EjenCapital, a solution to assist merchants and agents with inventory financing
  • Ejen2u also provides entrepreneurship training to brands and their resellers through WEMAP (Women Empowerment Agentship Programme) as well as TheFounder.
