Helping small biz go big
- Small businesses make up 98.5% of all companies within Malaysia, and employ nearly 70% of the nation’s workforce.
- As of 2023, 500-backed agent management platform Ejen2u has supported over 500 small businesses, helping them manage over 340,000 resellers across the country, and facilitating over US$115 million.
- The team just raised a US$1.5M Series A led by Gobi Partners and Artem Ventures.
- The funds will go towards accelerating efforts to expand to Indonesia, and to offer direct-to-consumer (D2C) services, such as
- Jooal, a platform for dropshipping clients to sell products without upfront inventory costs
- EjenStore, a new online storefront and affiliate platform for agents
- Ejen Fulfillment, Ejen2u’s in-house fulfillment services
- EjenCare, an income protection plan similar to Malaysia’s Social Security Organisation (SOCSO)
- EjenCapital, a solution to assist merchants and agents with inventory financing
- Ejen2u also provides entrepreneurship training to brands and their resellers through WEMAP (Women Empowerment Agentship Programme) as well as TheFounder.
