  • 500-backed agritech startup Elevarm released their first social impact report after 1 year in operations, and it’s looking positive!
  • According to the team, they are one of the very few companies focusing on upstream farming, providing comprehensive solutions and services that elevate farmers while ensuring quality, quantity, and consistent supply for customers in the farming business.
  • “Elevarm aims to build an ecosystem that is supported by data-driven and artificial intelligence-enabled solutions to revolutionize efficiency in the farming sector,” said Co-founder & CEO Bayu Syerli.
  • By maximizing farming productivity through technology, he believes the company can positively impact income and standard of living of farmers. “This further motivates us to develop solutions to improve the welfare of Indonesian farmers,” he added.
  • Elevarm has helped:
    • More than 1,000 farmers across 68 villages, with 10x more farmers leveraging Elevarm’s solutions
    • Improve productivity by 50% and production cost efficiency up to 43%
    • Support 7 out of 10 farmers financially
    • Increase planting and harvesting cycle by 30% on average
    • Increase income by 45% and move 20% of farmers above the poverty line
    • Distribute over 2,000 tonnes of produce to more than 30 cities/regencies
    • Reduce carbon footprint by 50% by implementing responsible farming
  • By 2025, the team aims to bring their services to 1 million farmers.
