Building better businesses

  • How can SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) manufacturers in Indonesia grow more sustainably? Securing more orders is one — but what about securing more valuable orders?
  • That’s what 500-backed B2B platform Imajin aims to do. The team connects large companies to SMEs, and they just secured an undisclosed amount in seed funding led by East Ventures with participation from 500 Southeast Asia.
  • Founded in 2019, Imajin focuses on metal and plastic products that are manufactured for various industries including automotive, electronic goods, and packaging. So far, the company has partnered with over 500 SME manufacturers.
  • The team’s work doesn’t stop here. They go on to offer quality assurance services, facilitate project financing for business owners with limited resources, and provide a marketplace to supply raw materials.
  • According to the company, the fresh funds will be used for hiring, expanding, and developing products.
  • Congratulations to the Imajin team and welcome to the 500 community!
