- Traveling has become even safer, thanks to 500-backed biotech startup Prenetics. It has launched the Circle HealthPod for COVID-19 pre-departure testing at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).
- The Circle HealthPod enables rapid molecular testing to travelers, producing results in less than 60 minutes from swabbing.
- According to the statement, negative results are currently accepted by 13 countries, including the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Travelers will be notified of their test results via their digital passport, SMS, and email.
- Tests are processed at Prenetics’ internationally-accredited airport laboratory. Prenetics is currently operating six such laboratories, with the other five located in the United Kingdom.
