  • Venture capital firm 500 Startups has announced the appointment of Singapore-based Ee Ling Lim as Regional Director, APAC.

  • Formerly the Singapore Country Lead, Innovation & Partnerships for 500 Startups, since 2019, she has built and led innovation programs for corporates and startups in Singapore and Malaysia, such as the Global Launch market access accelerator programs, the Petronas FutureTech accelerator program, and The Future of X UnConference.
  • She will spearhead business development for corporate and startup innovation programs in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region in her new role.
  • She is responsible for forging partnerships and strengthening relationships with corporates, governments, enterprises, foundations, and other stakeholders involved in developing startup ecosystems across the globe.
  • Since its inception in 2010, 500 Startups has invested in over 2,500 companies across 78 countries.
  • Ee Ling has over 13 years of experience in investment banking, consumer, retail, technology, and EdTech. She also spent nearly a decade in investment banking institutions such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch and CIMB, where she advised corporations in Southeast Asia on growth and fundraising.
