Co-founder and CEO of Xfers, Tianwei Liu, will join as the Group\u2019s Deputy CEO.<\/li>\n<li>Xfers will serve as the B2B arm of FFG, working to connect external merchants to its payment infrastructure and user network amassed by the group. Fazz Financial Group will focus on strengthening its infrastructure and product offerings from Q2 2021. Xfers will continue to serve clients in Indonesia and Singapore with its payments infrastructure, enabling them to accept bank transfers, e-wallet funds, and payments through convenience stores and agent banking networks like Payfazz. According to the startup, it has access to more than 10 million underbanked consumers in Indonesia. Also, it plans to expand into Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Vietnam.<\/li>\n<li>Read the full article on <a href=\"https:\/\/e27.co\/payfazz-invests-us30m-into-xfers-join-form-fazz-financial-group-20210304\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">e27<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Scooting over to Korea<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500-backed e-scooter startup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rideneuron.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Neuron Mobility<\/a> announced it is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesstimes.com.sg\/garage\/singapore-based-neuron-mobility-to-launch-e-scooter-rental-services-in-korea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">expanding its services to Korea<\/a>, starting with the capital city of Seoul, following the Korean government\u2019s recent introduction of stricter rules on how e-scooters should be ridden and operated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"1128\" data-height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7db8160111.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: SGSME<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Neuron Mobility chief executive Zachary Wang said, \u201cWe\u2019ve been studying the rise in popularity of e-scooters in Korea for some time. Now that new regulations are being introduced, as well as an increased focus on safety, we think it\u2019s the perfect time to bring our safely-leading e-scooters and collaborative ways of working to the city.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>The startup will deploy 2,000 e-scooters to test and refine operations before \u201cscaling significantly\u201d later in the year.<\/li>\n<li>Earlier this year, the startup\u2019s e-scooters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rideneuron.com\/neuron-e-scooters-will-soon-be-arriving-in-sunderland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">landed in Sunderland<\/a>, another city in the north-east of England, following a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rideneuron.com\/neuron-e-scooters-have-arrived-in-newcastle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newcastle launch<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Read about Neuron Mobility\u2019s expansion on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesstimes.com.sg\/garage\/singapore-based-neuron-mobility-to-launch-e-scooter-rental-services-in-korea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Business Times<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Rooms for relief<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500-backed hospitality startup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddoorz.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RedDoorz<\/a> launched a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.traveldailymedia.com\/reddoorz-offers-free-temporary-accommodations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CSR campaign<\/a> in collaboration with Singapore-based charity organization Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT).<\/li>\n<li>Under this campaign, Singaporeans can donate their unused SingapoRediscovers Vouchers (SRVs) to provide free accommodation for DOT beneficiaries who come from economically-challenged environments.
