Adam answered, \u201cAn Australian satellite, launched on an Australian launch vehicle, from an Australian launch site\u2026 And we\u2019re trying to do that next year!\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Watch the full panel discussion <a href=\"https:\/\/cosmosmagazine.com\/space\/exploration\/cosmos-briefing-building-australias-space-industry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Opening the books<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appearing on <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/video\/bukalapak-com-ceo-pandemic-growth-052213070.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018Bloomberg Markets: Asia\u2019<\/a>, the CEO of 500-backed e-commerce platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bukalapak.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bukalapak<\/a> spoke of the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the startup, its growth plans, and the possibility of an IPO.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"1600\" data-height=\"884\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7db7353bc0.png\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Bloomberg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Rachmat Kaimuddin shared that the startup\u2019s growth is in line with the <a href=\"https:\/\/economysea.withgoogle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">e-Conomy SEA 2020 report<\/a>, seeing a \u201chigh double digit\u201d growth in total transactions revenue. The number of merchants rose from 9 to 13.5 million.<\/li>\n<li>When asked about his plans for an IPO, he said to \u201cwatch this space\u201d as the startup will make an announcement once its plans are clear.<\/li>\n<li>What sets Bukalapak apart from other e-commerce platforms? Rachmat said that its goal is to provide e-commerce solutions to underserved markets which are the small and medium enterprises, those outside commercial centers, and those who may not be financially or digitally included.
