It has seen a surge in listings with rich content such as videos on its platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Last month, Darius revealed to <a href=\"https:\/\/kr-asia.com\/the-covid-19-pandemic-is-changing-the-real-estate-industry-99-cos-ceo-says\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KrAsia<\/a> that the pandemic didn\u2019t adversely affect 99 Group\u2019s business traction. In fact, there were positive developments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fashion expansion<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Indonesia and Malaysia will soon have its own Pomelo stores, the 500-backed fashion retailer <a href=\"https:\/\/insideretail.asia\/2020\/09\/03\/pomelo-speeds-up-southeast-asian-retail-expansion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> as part of its omnichannel expansion plans.<\/li>\n<li>Indonesia\u2019s first store will open at Central Park mall in Jakarta this November, while Malaysia\u2019s first store is expected to launch in the first quarter of next year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"800\" data-height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7da214fd9e.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Marketing Interactive<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cCreating a seamless omnichannel experience has always been at the core of what we do at Pomelo, and it\u2019s what allows us to continue expanding our retail presence at a time when other brands may be doing the opposite,\u201d said Anders Heikenfeldt, chief retail officer at Pomelo.<\/li>\n<li>In Singapore, Pomelo will open its second outlet this November.<\/li>\n<li>Including its two most recent stores in The Mall Ngamwongwan and Terminal 21 in Bangkok, Pomelo plans to open three more stores in Fashion Island, Mega Bangna, and Siam Centre\u200a\u2014\u200aall located at the city\u2019s busy shopping districts.<\/li>\n<li>The company plans to reach 20 stores in Thailand by the end of this year.<\/li>\n<li>Pomelo started the year by acquiring fashion e-commerce platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techinasia.com\/pomelo-absorbs-looksi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Looksi<\/a>, previously known as Zalora Thailand. With the acquisition, Pomelo added a variety of key international brands to its app and website. Some of these top brands included Adidas, Aldo, Havaianas, Topshop, Guess, Levi Jeans, and Nike.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Grab and Klook!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grab, the 500-backed super app, will now offer booking of domestic tours and activities through integration with Hong Kong-based travel platform, Klook.<\/li>\n<li>Grab users will use a new \u201cAttractions\u201d tile in the app to search through Klook\u2019s catalog of more than 100,000 domestic attractions, tours, activities, and food and beverage outlets.<\/li>\n<li>Digital tickets for the experiences are booked in the Grab app, with payment through GrabPay and loyalty points earned through GrabRewards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"640\" data-height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7da21a6995.png\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: TTG\u00a0Asia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Some of the activities in Singapore include the AJ Hackett Sentosa Bungy Jump, and island hopping to visit St. John\u2019s Island and Kusu Island.
