After his tenure with the World Gold Council in London, he co-founded HelloGold in 2015.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cFor a lot of people, the amount of financial services available to them depends greatly on the amount of money they have. Even for say a fixed deposit, you need at least RM1,000 per se to start saving, that isn\u2019t the case with HelloGold. If you can afford <em>nasi lemak<\/em> you can afford gold, \u201d Robin says.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"670\" data-height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7d9f96feb9.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: The Edge\u00a0Markets<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Investments can be made via an app, making it convenient for anyone to tap into gold trading through their fingertips\u200a\u2014\u200aanywhere and anytime.<\/li>\n<li>When a user hits a certain threshold in their savings, they can choose to convert them into a physical gold bar or cash.<\/li>\n<li>In February, HelloGold introduced the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hellogold.com\/smartsaver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SmartSaver<\/a> program where a user can put in any amount between RM30 to RM1,000 monthly to achieve their gold savings target.<\/li>\n<li>HelloGold is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalnewsasia.com\/startups\/malaysias-hellogold-showcases-financial-inclusion-product-unsg-task-force-event\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">world\u2019s first<\/a> Shariah-compliant gold mobile app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Drone tech partners telco<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500-backed drone tech firm Aerodyne has announced a partnership with Malaysia\u2019s Celcom to explore the development of drone technology, specifically for urban and agricultural settings.<\/li>\n<li>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.celcom.com.my\/about-celcom\/media-centre\/2020\/celcom-and-aerodyne-collaborate-to-explore-development-of-drone-technology-as-ir4.0-solutions-for-urban-and-agriculture\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a>, this is part of the country\u2019s ongoing Industrial Revolution (IR) 4.0 slew of initiatives focusing on future technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Through this tie-up, Aerodyne can count on Celcom\u2019s 5G abilities to improve drone capabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"700\" data-height=\"365\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/1hsOBXff7uM4feDmoOIB6vw.png\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Celcom<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cWe are excited about this proposed strategic partnership, with Celcom as our preferred connectivity provider to jointly explore and develop smart solutions using drones by leveraging on 5G technology.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThis will enable drones to transmit high-definition footage in real-time. 5G\u2019s millisecond latency and data speeds of up to 100 times faster than 4G allows drones to transmit high-quality footage and data to operators on the ground,\u201d says Aerodyne founder Kamarul A Muhamed.<\/li>\n<li>The Celcom partnership is the latest round of strategic agreements from Aerodyne. In May, it announced a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), the private sector arm of Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Test-kits for all<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After signaling the return of live football and cricket behind closed doors in the UK, 500-backed <a href=\"https:\/\/circledna.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prenetics<\/a> is now working with two more organizations for Covid-19 testing.<\/li>\n<li>The Hong Kong-based digital health company has partnered with Matchroom Boxing, a leading boxing promoter, and Asia\u2019s fastest-growing hotel business, Dorsett Hospitality International.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7d9fa49fd8.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Bloomberg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>The testing for all boxers, staff, and ring personnel will be conducted at the start of every \u201cfight week\u201d, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/roundbyroundboxing.com\/matchroom-partner-with-prenetics-for-fight-camp-covid-19-testing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a>. If an individual\u2019s test results are negative, they\u2019ll be allowed to attend press events and weigh-ins.<\/li>\n<li>On the other hand, Prenetics test kits will be made available for purchase at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcaretechoutlook.com\/news\/dorsett-hospitality-collaborates-with-prenetics-nid-1864.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nine locations<\/a> belonging to Dorsett Hospitality International. These kits can be purchased at a 50% discount for the hospitality group\u2019s associates and employees.<\/li>\n<li>Last week, Prenetics was <a href=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/\/durians-daily-63-indonesian-startup-brings-mushroom-leather-watches-to-market-prenetics-joins-c4946946e8b9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">listed by the Hong Kong governmen<\/a>t to assist in curbing a new wave of positive coronavirus cases. CEO Danny Yeung said they would ensure that testing is \u201caccessible\u201d and \u201ceasy\u201d.
