That\u2019s the latest acquisition by 500-backed superapp <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grab.com\/\">Grab<\/a>, in a move to expand its restaurant booking services in Southeast Asia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chope, a Singapore-based dining reservation platform, has 13,000 eateries across the country and beyond on their platform. Grab is acquiring their Southeast Asia operations, which also covers Bali, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Phuket.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grab has been offering restaurant reservations in Singapore after their acquisition of HungryGoWhere in 2022, and this new acquisition further expands their business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The team shared that they aim to provide their F&amp;B merchants-partners with more ways to capture online-to-offline opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cThe vast majority of the merchants on our platform are small, medium-sized businesses who don\u2019t have the same resources or know-how that big F&amp;B brands have.
