Singapore in particular aims to have 55% of its water demand met by recycled water by 2060.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>500-backed homegrown greentech company <a href=\"https:\/\/hydroleap.com\/\">Hydroleap<\/a> is addressing this need with their innovative wastewater technology, and the team <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/46SY4A4\">raised US$4.4M Series A led by Japanese venture firm Real Tech Holdings<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hydroleap specializes in two types of electrolytic wastewater treatment technology &#8211; Electrocoagulation (HL-EC) and Electrooxidation (HL-EO). According to the team, their technology can eliminate up to 95% of pollutants in industrial wastewater and reduce water discharge in cooling towers by 70%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The fresh funds will be used to expand to other Asia Pacific markets such as Australia, Japan, and Indonesia.
