Also on the list is Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern, activist Malala Yousafzai, and pro tennis player Naomi Osaka.<\/li>\n<li>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/2021\/05\/12\/worlds-greatest-leaders-2021-crisis-response-covid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fortune<\/a>, the two key traits that characterize successful leaders are \u201cconfronting new realities quickly and fully\u201d and \u201ctaking action, doing things no one else is doing or has done, with no assurance they will succeed\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>During the pandemic, Grab transitioned more than 237,000 ride-hailing drivers to delivery drivers in 2020. It expanded its grocery delivery service <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grab.com\/my\/mart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GrabMart<\/a> to eight markets in three months.<\/li>\n<li>The startup also built and launched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grab.com\/sg\/safety\/covid-19\/grabcare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GrabCare<\/a>, a temporary on-demand service to transport medical professionals in less than 72 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"950\" data-height=\"490\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7db1f1629e.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Carsome<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Driven by data<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500-backed automotive e-commerce platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carsome<\/a> has set up a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/item\/carsome-powering-used-car-industry-with-data-innovation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">data center of excellence (COE)<\/a>. The startup aims to harness data to drive decision-making in the used car industry.<\/li>\n<li>Internally, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) automates operational tasks such as car number plate masking and car scoring. These reduce the time car inspection time, providing a faster car-selling process for consumers.<\/li>\n<li>For dealers, ML-powered auction optimization provides personalized recommendations when bidding for cars. Dealers on Carsome\u2019s platform will find the most relevant cars curated and ready to bid on for them before they even start browsing.<\/li>\n<li>Consumers will benefit from data-backed proposed pricing when selling their cars, which is based on market movements.
