In fact, it takes 100x more water to extinguish an EV battery fire compared to a gas-fueled car.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sadly, battery cells overheating and catching fire is a major challenge for electric vehicles (EVs). While EVs are the future of transportation, this major safety issue has become a significant concern for the industry and drivers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>500-backed Taiwan-based EV technology company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xingmobility.com\/\">XING Mobility<\/a> rose to the challenge <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/41wk80G\">with a game-changing answer: immersion cooling<\/a>. This means the entire battery cell is immersed in coolant, compared to current indirect cooling methods, which have proven quite limited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After acquiring a patent for this technology in 2016 and building a supercar &#8211; a childhoood dream of founder &amp; CEO Royce Hong &#8211; in 2017, the XING Mobility team was surprised to find the battery was attracting more attention than the car itself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interestingly, the concept of immersion cooling wasn\u2019t a new one, but XING Mobility was the first to actually roll up their sleeves, find the resources, and build it while holding strong to their belief that \u201cinside challenges true opportunities wait\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The result? Today, the company\u2019s second-generation battery is in production. The team is selling to local Taiwanese clients as well as customers from Japan, Finland, Italy, Canada, and into sectors such as commercial vehicles, mining machinery, farm equipment, and logistics vehicles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>XING Mobility\u2019s solution is serving more than just machines on wheels.
