First, it will be launching a regional program aimed at lowering the barriers for marginalized individuals to join the tech company. It built teams across Singapore, Indonesia, and China amidst the pandemic, raised over US$6.8M, and announced the launch of its EV motorbike for pre-orders in Indonesia later in 2022.<\/li><li>Now, <a href=\"https:\/\/technode.global\/2022\/05\/11\/building-southeast-asias-ev-motorbike-ecosystem-an-interview-with-ion-mobilitys-james-chan-podcast-qa\/\">it is in the midst of raising a US$15M Series A round<\/a> and has plans to expand to Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines in 2023.<\/li><li>So, why the motorbike out of all other vehicles? \u201cContrary to popular belief, ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) motorbikes are often responsible for a lot more pollution than cars, emitting up to 16 times more hydrocarbons, three times more carbon monoxide, and other pollutants across their lifespan,\u201d explained Founder &amp;
