Among them are several 500-backed startups, including Bukalapak, Grab, and Malaysia\u2019s first unicorn Carsome.\u00a0<\/li><li>\u00a0\u201cThe start-up ecosystem has come full circle. We\u2019ve gone from an environment of young start-ups to those pushing for growth and ending up as billion-dollar companies,\u201d said Vishal Harnal, managing partner at 500 Global, the firm with enough foresight to have established early relationships with each.<\/li><li>One of 500 Southeast Asia\u2019s investment focus is rural digitization.
