The Juru people are an Aboriginal Australian people of the state of Queensland.<\/li><li>The agreement signals the Juru people\u2019s support of a proposed launch site within the state, where the startup is planning to launch the first Australian-made rockets and satellites next year.<\/li><li>James Gilmour, Head of Launch Operations at Gilmour Space said, \u201cCultural heritage has been, and will continue to be, an important element of the Bowen Orbital Spaceport.\u201d<\/li><li>\u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to launching Australia to space from Juru land in Queensland, with support from the Juru people,\u201d he added.<\/li><li>Read the full announcement <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gspacetech.com\/post\/juru-traditional-owners-support-rocket-launches-from-bowen\">here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/4OAdEJFFSfTAb5wSTYHp9YFDEwyvyjqXwpyUEpD2_RzQaEfbFSxgWUZPu_RawK7BTOIQFaO9K22-HSvP0z_B5XBEerjds2iU_2NXBSmZtPzXa1-gMzk99lYBc8KcYExdCAg5MJUp\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption>Credit: Neuron Mobility<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Safe celebrations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>With the festive season approaching, 500-backed e-scooter startup Neuron Mobility has launched a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rideneuron.com\/neuron-kick-starts-festive-scootsafe-campaign-with-safety-videos-to-reinforce-responsible-riding\/\">#ScootSafe campaign<\/a> across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.<\/li><li>The campaign seeks to remind users to ride safely and responsibly leading up to Christmas and New Year\u2019s Eve.<\/li><li>The startup will also be giving free passes to local charities in the UK to aid their volunteers.<\/li><li>Meanwhile, in Australia, Neuron\u2019s e-scooters will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rideneuron.com\/neuron-to-launch-in-ballarat-as-part-of-victorias-first-e-scooter-trials\/\">deployed in Ballarat<\/a> in the state of Victoria\u2019s first e-scooter program. Today, the group has a presence in eight markets, including Australia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
