Overseas suppliers had stopped sending in flowers to create the exquisite bouquets many have come to love.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"1200\" data-height=\"628\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7d9dd83127.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Vulcan\u00a0Post<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>But BloomThis persevered. It started sourcing flowers from local vendors. It also doubled down on the tech front, focusing on streamlining e-commerce and operations.<\/li>\n<li>Giden and his wife Penny expanded the business beyond flowers by offering toys, chocolates, balloons and cakes.<\/li>\n<li>\u201c\u2026we continued to execute the plans that we had around food products like cakes and ice-cream, bundling them with the flowers,\u201d Giden adds.
