its rapid test kits is comparable to the commonly used polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test procedures.<\/li>\n<li>While PCR testing is accurate at diagnosing patients, results often <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medmastery.com\/guide\/covid-19-clinical-guide\/how-real-time-reverse-transcription-polymerase-chain-reaction-rt-pcr#:~:text=Obtaining%20quick%2C%20accurate%20test%20results,and%20reverse%20transcribe%20the%20RNA.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">take hours to return<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Prenetics\u2019 test kits, which are <a href=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/\/durians-daily-120-prenetics-acquires-rapid-diagnostics-tech-that-cuts-covid-19-testing-time-to-d8bf60f541f0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">developed<\/a> by the University of Oxford, can return accurate results within 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"1400\" data-height=\"932\" co-founder Danny Yeung said this is a \u201cgamechanger\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWe\u2019re able to process tests without a laboratory\u2026 the results are much faster,\u201d said Danny in a video interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2020\/11\/02\/hong-kong-firm-says-its-rapid-covid-tests-are-comparable-to-pcr-tests.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNBC<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>According to Danny, the test kits are priced between US$15 to US$20, before counting labor costs for administering the test.<\/li>\n<li>Already available at London\u2019s Heathrow airport and on trial at Hong Kong\u2019s airport, Prenetics is in talks with governments and airports to introduce the test kits.<\/li>\n<li>While Danny admitted that PCR tests are the \u201cgold standard\u201d for their accuracy, they are also expensive with a longer processing time in the lab.<\/li>\n<li>Early this week, Prenetics <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/business\/companies\/article\/3107659\/prenetics-buys-oxsed-ravids-rapid-covid-19-diagnostics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> the acquisition of Oxsed RaViD test technology developed by the University of Oxford, which can significantly shorten the time needed for Covid-19 test results to return.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A strategic tie-up<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marriott International, the world\u2019s largest hotel group, is working with 500-backed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grab.com\/my\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grab<\/a> on a series of initiatives to revive their dining establishments.<\/li>\n<li>Over 600 Marriott restaurants and bars across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand, will be listed on GrabFood starting this month, <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2020\/10\/28\/marriott-international-announces-partnership-with-grab-in-six-southeast-asian-countries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TechCrunch<\/a> reported.<\/li>\n<li>This partnership marks the hospitality giant\u2019s first extensive integration with a tech platform in Southeast Asia, and Grab\u2019s most comprehensive agreement with a hospitality group to date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"1000\" data-height=\"635\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7d9d5b036d.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Travel versa).<\/li>\n<li>Grab users can redeem their converted points for exclusive member benefits at over 7,400 hotels and resorts in 135 countries and territories.<\/li>\n<li>Besides, Grab users can also use GrabPay to make cashless payments at Marriott properties in Singapore starting Q1 of 2021.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThe breadth of our collaboration reflects our value as a platform of choice in
