Applications are open until February 26, 2021.<\/li>\n<li>The two programs aim to support startups in developing business expansion and growth strategies. Participants will get access to mentors from 500 Startups who possess business experience in Southeast Asia and the US.<\/li>\n<li>The programs will also provide networking opportunities with 500\u2019s startup community, corporate partners, and industry stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>No barrier in language<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500-backed microblogging app <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kooapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Koo<\/a> has <a href=\"https:\/\/inc42.com\/buzz\/vernacular-microblogging-platform-koo-raises-series-a-funding-from-3one4-capital-others\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raised<\/a> US$4.1 million in its series A funding round.<\/li>\n<li>Launched in March 2020 by Q&amp;A platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vokal.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vokal<\/a>, the startup aims to cater to vernacular speakers in India.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"800\" data-height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7dbb80ed4a.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: YourStory<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>According to the startup, the funds will be used to ramp up engineering and marketing teams\u2019 capabilities to solve problems unique to the Indian market and increase awareness about the app.<\/li>\n<li>Aprameya Radhakrishna, the CEO of Koo, said that existing microblogging platforms have not grown beyond the English-speaking population, which is the gap Koo is looking to close.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Learning at your fingertips<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500-backed digital health startup <a href=\"http:\/\/mclinica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mClinica<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/mclinica_digitaleducation-webinar-vietnam-activity-6754293682020741120-uyfc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hosted<\/a> live educational webinars for a leading pharmaceutical company in Vietnam. The course was targeted at pharmacy professionals in both rural and urban areas.<\/li>\n<li>Through its app <a href=\"https:\/\/swiperxapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SwipeRx<\/a>, 500 pharmacists attended three webinars over one weekend, with interactive Q&amp;A sessions with the speakers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-width=\"1400\" data-height=\"944\" src=\"https:\/\/dailymarkup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_60f7dbb87e857.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: mClinica<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Complemented with a pre- and post-test, successful pharmacists obtained 12 credit points\/periods accredited by the Ho Chi Minh City Pharmaceutical Association (HCPA), which is officially certified by the Vietnamese government.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Missed out the last Daily Markup?
